KUALA LUMPUR, 25 April 2019: Bandar Malaysia Sdn Bhd (BMSB) would like to confirm that it has not issued any recent request for tender submissions for its project.
 
This is in response to a fraudulent ‘Tawaran Kontrak Kerja secara terhad’ (limited offer contract) letter that is currently being circulated by a party claiming to be from BMSB.

The fake letter asked interested parties who want to partake in the tender for piling, geo-technical, building, civil, steel structure, mechanical engineering, landscape and related works to bank in RM7000 via an “instant bank transfer” to an account purported to be BMSB’s trustee account. It also requested companies to submit their company registration, profile and financial statement.

BMSB, as the master developer for Bandar Malaysia, would like to stress that any future tender invitations will be publicised in local dailies. We also urge companies to check any such notices against the information available on TRX City Sdn Bhd’s website at http://www.trx.my/press-release. BMSB is a wholly-owned subsidiary of TRX City.

BMSB will be lodging reports on the matter with the relevant authorities, and we encourage companies that have received the invitation to notify us at [email protected].
