Adopting the popular concept of contemporary urban development, TRX is drawn as a city-within-a-city. Organised into four distinctive quarters, the 70-acres development is divided into financial, lifestyle ,urban and park quarters.
FINANCIAL QUARTER
Sleek suits and briefcases, 9 to 5 rush, queue at counters, this is the core to Malaysia's dedicated financial district, and key to its aspiration to be the global hub for Islamic finance. TRX central business district will not be strictly business, however. It will have leisure and recreation components, with its proximity to hotels, cafés and a sprawling green park.
LIFESTYLE QUARTER
KL as a shopping haven has really made its mark in the international tourism radar in recent years. TRX’s Lifestyle Quarter will be one of the city’s upcoming retail offerings. We dub the quarter the social heart of TRX. Located at the Northern edge, it will have serviced apartments, hotels and a three-storey lifestyle retail mall: expect restaurants, alfresco cafes and entertainment outlets. Developed by a joint-venture between Lendlease and TRX, the Lifestyle Quarter will buoy TRX's vibrancy well beyond working hours.
PARK QUARTER
Park Quarter fronts Jalan Barat, a mixed-development block at the edge of the TRX park. This will be the main gateway for traffic from the Bukit Bintang shopping belt, particularly for the pedestrians. The buildings in Park Quarters have some of the best view of the central park, which apart from being the new green lung for KL, will also function as a conduit to pedestrians criss-crossing the district. The Park Quarter will be populated mostly by residential towers, with a commercial tower at one end.
URBAN QUARTER
Urban Quarter is in the South parcel of TRX, separated from the three quarters via Jalan Sultan Ismail. It will be linked to the rest of the development by a bridge. The Urban Quarter, currently under the master planning stage, will be a mixed development.
