The 70-acre TRX is expected to be the new landmark in Kuala Lumpur, a point of reference just like KLCC and KL Tower.
Where exactly is TRX?
Situated just after Bulatan Kampung Pandan, at the corner of Jalan Sultan Ismail and Jalan Tun Razak, TRX will have easy access into and out of the district while being connected to major roads and expressways. Apart from links to Jalan Tun Razak and Jalan Bukit Bintang, it will also be connected to SMART Tunnel, Maju Expressway (MEX) and MRR2.
TRX is 47km or about 35 minutes away from KLIA and only 8km to KL Sentral.
How do you get there?
As an international finance and lifestyle district, TRX has to have excellent connectivity. Significant investments are being put in to ensure this. Major infrastructure works are currently underway, and this includes building roadways, upgrading and widening connecting roads that link TRX to arterial roads and highways.
By road, TRX is accessible through Jalan Tun Razak, Jalan Imbi, Jalan Utara, Jalan Barat, SMART Tunnel and MEX.
On foot, TRX is within walking distance to the major shopping belt of Bukit Bintang and Imbi. Visitors can also take the monorail and stop at the Bukit Bintang or Imbi stations and take a walk along the pedestrian avenues to get to TRX
It will also be easily accessible via its vast transport connections, including the upcoming MRT lines 1 (Sg Buloh – Kajang) and 2 (Sg Buloh – Serdang – Putrajaya). TRX will be the home for the largest underground interchange station. (Left) View of the tunnel works at the TRX MRT Station, and (Right) ongoing loop tunnel system at the TRX development site.
