KUALA LUMPUR, 1 SEPTEMBER 2026 – Malaysia’s international financial centre, Tun Razak Exchange (TRX), continues to gain momentum as a thriving ecosystem for business, investment and urban living, with strong uptake reflecting confidence.

With more than 85% of its office supply committed, TRX has attracted a growing community of multinational corporations, financial institutions and industry leaders, reinforcing its appeal as the preferred destination for international businesses, regional hubs and centres of excellence, and supporting the continued growth of its business ecosystem.

Building on this momentum, Menara Ethos will become TRX’s 10^th building and further expand the district’s Premium Grade A office offering. Construction of the main building works for the new commercial development is expected to commence in December 2026, adding approximately 808,000 sqf Net Lettable Area (NLA) to meet growing demand for Premium Grade-A office space in the district.

A subsidiary of the district’s master developer TRX City Sdn Bhd recently awarded WCT Bhd, the wholly-owned construction arm of WCT Holdings Bhd, a contract to undertake and execute the construction of the 41-storey Menara Ethos for RM600.9 million.

The scope of works under the contract covers civil and structural works, architectural works, mechanical, electrical and plumbing works, façade works, landscaping, external and other associated works.

Strategically located in TRX’s Financial Quarter with easy access to Kuala Lumpur’s only MRT interchange, Menara Ethos is designed to combine accessibility, workplace quality and operational resilience. The new building will feature a grand boulevard arrival, sky gardens, and multi-level security systems and is designed to achieve WELL Core and Shell certification to support the health and wellbeing of workers.

The Premium Grade-A building’s adaptable workplace layout includes a dedicated event floor and a centralised business hub that forms a key component of its operational flexibility. These shared facilities are designed to support tenant collaboration, productivity and scalability as business needs evolve.

Once completed, Menara Ethos, which will house PwC Malaysia’s new headquarters, will deepen TRX’s business ecosystem and further elevate its status as a vibrant and sustainable international financial centre.

30,000 workers are now based in the 70-acre district, representing a wide range of industries – from global financial institutions and technology giants, to leading multinational corporations, luxury brands and exciting retail offerings and high-impact AI-driven industry.
