DEADLINE EXTENSION: TRX Art Competition - Visualising KL’s Sustainable Future

11th December 2017

The submission deadline for TRX Art Competition has been extended to 15th January 2018.

Themed “Sustainable Kuala Lumpur”, the art competition is jointly organized by TRX City Sdn Bhd (TRX City) and the Department of Environment Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur (DOE WPKL) Malaysia.

Open to all Malaysian tertiary students of 16 years of age or older, the competition seeks to explore the ideals of urban sustainability from the perspective of young Malaysians and how they can be reflected in Kuala Lumpur’s future developments. The sketches should depict Kuala Lumpur, inclusive of future Tun Razak Exchange development, and may include existing landmarks of the city or other structures that are conceptualized by the contestant.

TRX Art Competition provides a platform for young Malaysians to express their vision for Kuala Lumpur’s sustainable future through creative visual arts. Competition winners will receive cash prize of RM5000 for the first place, RM2000 for second place, RM1500 for third place, RM500 for 3 consolation winners.

Tun Razak Exchange is Malaysia’s first neighbourhood-level development to receive provisional GBI Township Platinum and LEED ND Gold certifications. The financial district’s masterplan combines sustainability, attractive public domains and great connectivity to create a world-class international financial district.
