The 250 metres long, five-storey "Tun Razak Exchange” station has been specially designed as an interchange for both the Sungai Buloh - Kajang Line and Sungai Buloh-Serdang-Putrajaya Line. It is the biggest among the seven underground MRT stations

A former mayor of Bogota once said “A developed country is not a place where the poor have cars. It’s where the rich use public transport”.

This sentiment is fast gaining traction these days, where we see developing countries are focusing more on sustainability and greater use of public transport to bring environmental and economic benefits.

TRX will be home to the largest underground MRT station in KL, which will connect the district to other prime areas in the Klang Valley.

Currently at the final stages of development, the 250 metres long “Tun Razak Exchange” station has been specially designed as an interchange for both the Sungai Buloh-Kajang (SBK)and Sungai Buloh-Serdang-Putrajaya lines.

The 5-storeys high station is the biggest among the seven underground MRT stations, with a lower platform, lower mezzanine, upper platform, concourse and upper mezzanine level. It will be able to hold up to 25,000 commuters per hour during peak hours.  The station is integrated to the central park and the retail mall.

More than half of the people travelling to TRX are expected to arrive either with the MRT or the existing monorail line. The MRT station will be crucial features to making TRX seamless and accessible.

The SBK line ot Line 1 will be operational in phases, beginning end 2016. The TRX station is set start operation in Phase 2, July 2017.
