International Financial Centre.

TRX City ensures global best practices, developers’ innovative master plans,

infrastructure. As the company that leads the project from vision to execution,
TRX City undertakes all planning, marketing, enhancement, management, and
infrastructure provisions for the project.

YBhg. Datuk Johan Mahmood Merican

Datuk Johan’s extensive experience in both the public and private sectors, particularly in finance, economic policy, and human capital development, showcases his versatile skill set and leadership capabilities.

His current tenure as Secretary-General of Treasury of Malaysia, and previous significant roles such as Deputy Secretary-General (Policy) and National Budget Director at the Ministry of Finance Malaysia (MOF) and Deputy Director-General (Human Capital) at the Economic Planning Unit, demonstrating his experience in fiscal matters and economic policy formulation.

In addition, his prior positions in human capital development, including as CEO of Talent Corporation Malaysia, underscore his commitment to nurturing talent and fostering sustainable economic growth.

With a solid educational background in Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from Cambridge University, UK and professional accreditation from the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales, Datuk Johan brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to his current role in Tun Razak Exchange (TRX), Malaysia’s International Financial Centre (IFC).

YBhg. Dato' Dr. Amiruddin bin Muhamed

Dato’ Dr. Amiruddin’s career path within the Ministry of Finance Malaysia (MOF) highlights his expertise in strategic financial management and investment.

Dato’ Dr. Amiruddin is currently the Under Secretary (Strategic and General) of the Government Investment Companies (GIC) Division at the MOF.

Before he was appointed to the position in August 2018, he was the Chief Executive Officer of Majlis Agama Islam dan Adat Melayu Perak (MAIPk), a position which he had held from 2014.
Beginning from the Accountant-General’s Department and progressing through various divisions within MOF, he has accumulated a wealth of experience in areas such as corporatisation, privatisation, and strategic investments.

His educational background, including a Doctor of Philosophy in Accounting & Finance from Durham University, UK, Master of Economics (Economic Development) and Bachelor of Accounting (Hon.) from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia, reflects his dedication to advancing his knowledge and skills in financial and economic disciplines.

With his blend of practical experience and academic qualifications, Dato’ Dr. Amiruddin is well-equipped to contribute effectively to the strategic and general functions of the Tun Razak Exchange (TRX), Malaysia’s International Financial Centre (IFC).

Mohd Hisyamuddin Bin Awang Abu Bakar

En. Hisyamuddin’s career path demonstrates his commitment to financial management and audit, with experiences in both the Ministry of Home Affairs and Ministry of Defence before transitioning to the Internal Audit Management Division of the Accountant-General Department within the Ministry of Finance Malaysia (MOF).

His educational background, including a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from the International Islamic University of Malaysia and a Master’s Degree in Business Administration with a focus on Islamic Finance from the National University of Malaysia, underlines his specialization in financial disciplines, particularly within the context of Islamic finance.

With his expertise and qualifications, En. Hisyamuddin is well-positioned to contribute effectively to the major milestones of the Tun Razak Exchange (TRX), Malaysia’s International Financial Centre (IFC) since 2017.

Currently En. Hisyamuddin is the Head of Special Investment, Real Estate & Services Section of the Government Investment Companies (GIC) Division at the MOF.

YBhg. Dato’ Sri Ir. Dr. Roslan bin Md Taha

Dato’ Sri Ir. Dr. Roslan’s extensive career spanning 37 years in the Public Works Department, culminating in his role as Director-General of Jabatan Kerja Raya, reflects his deep expertise in infrastructure and construction management.

His diverse skill set encompasses infrastructure, project & construction management, asset management, technical and financial negotiations, and environmental management, honed through both government and private sector roles.

Additionally he also served on the boards of various bodies and Government-Linked Companies, including the Malaysian Highway Authority (LLM), Construction Industry Development Board (CIDB), Pembinaan BLT Sdn Bhd, Malaysian Qualification Agency (MQA), Jambatan Kedua Sdn Bhd, IJN Holdings Sdn Bhd and Minconsult Sdn Bhd showcasing his broad impact across the industry. He was the President of Board of Engineers Malaysia, BEM (2017-2019) and is a member of the Disciplinary Committee. He is also an Honorary Fellow with the ASEAN Federation of Engineering Organisations (AFEO).

His educational background, which includes a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Newcastle-upon-Tyne, a Master’s Degree in Civil Environmental Engineering from the University of Liverpool, and a Doctorate Degree in Environment from the University of Wales, UK underlines his commitment to continuous learning and specialization in environmental engineering.

Dato’ Sri Ir. Dr. Roslan’s wealth of experience and academic qualifications position him as a highly respected figure in the field of infrastructure, construction, environmental management and sustainability.

YBhg. Dato’ Ir. Hashimah binti Hashim

Dato’ Ir. Hashimah’s impressive career path showcases her invaluable contributions to the construction and property development sectors.

Graduated from the University of Nottingham, UK in Civil & Structural Engineering with more than 35 years of experience spanning various key roles, local and international including London and New York, her expertise has been instrumental in shaping iconic landmarks such as the Petronas Twin Towers (KLCC), Terengganu Drawbridge, SPRM Office Putrajaya, MITI Office Tower, 60-Storey Sapura Tower and numerous other notable structures. She has been involved in more than 1000 construction packages of USD10Billion shaping landmarks through mixed development, townships and infrastructure works.

Additionally, her efforts in promoting the Malaysian construction industry globally highlight her commitment to advancing the sector’s reputation and capabilities. She has appeared as speakers and jury panel in Singapore, China, UK, Australia and USA.

Dato’ Ir. Hashimah’s recognition as the first Malaysian to receive the prestigious international award from the Council of Tall Building and Urban Habitat (CTBUH) in 2019 for her significant contributions to sustainable urban design and construction is indeed a remarkable achievement, reflecting Malaysia’s commitment to excellence in this field.

Winning prestigious awards like the “Construction Leading Lady Award” by CIDB and the Muslim World Rania International Award in 2019 further underscore her significant impact and leadership within the industry.

Dato’ Ir. Hashimah last post was the CEO of Putrajaya Holdings Sdn Bhd, master developer of Putrajaya and a subsidiary of KLCC Group of Companies.

Puan Suhara binti Abdul Rahman

Puan Suhara is a distinguished legal professional with an extensive career spanning several decades. She graduated from the University of Malaya with a Degree in Law with Honours in 1996. Her academic pursuits continued with a Master’s Degree in International Legal Studies from the University of Nottingham, UK, in 2007.

She began her professional journey as an Advocate and Solicitor before joining the Judicial and Legal Service in 1999, where she has served in various capacities since then.

Her career highlights include significant contributions to legal advisory roles and a long-standing commitment to the judicial and legal service in Malaysia.

Currently, she holds the position of Timbalan Ketua Bahagian Penasihat II at the Attorney General’s Chambers.
