KUALA LUMPUR, 2^nd October 2023 – There will be road enhancement work at Jalan Barat Slip Road, which provides access to vehicles from Jalan Barat into Tun Razak Exchange. The work, which requires a full road closure of the slip road, will take place for eight weeks from 3 October (10.00 pm) to 29 November (6.00 am) 2023.  

The affected area, as highlighted green in the attached map, will result in no egress to Bulatan Kampung Pandan and SMART tunnel via Jalan Barat Slip Road. Access to CBD loop will still be available.

Due to the above, traffic diversion is as follows (for illustration, please see attached map):

1. Egress to Bulatan Kampung Pandan: Jalan Barat => Persiaran TRX 1 => Persiaran TRX => Persiaran TRX 3 => Jalan Sultan Ismail.
2. Egress to SMART tunnel: Jalan Barat => Persiaran TRX 1 => Persiaran TRX => New TRX egress to SMART tunnel.

The work area and critical points will be manned by flagman to ensure public safety. To ensure the safety of motorists and to avoid confusion, traffic users are advised to adhere to all temporary traffic signages. Any inconvenience caused is very much regretted.
